Jordan Dermond

Jordan grew up on the coast of North Carolina in Ocean Isle Beach, where she and her family settled back after serving in the military. She grew up in a family of food professionals where her grandfather and uncle owned and operated a national pork processing company, and her mother owned restaurants. As she grew up, Jordan's passion for food grew, and she helped develop and manage a new bakery and a family seafood restaurant. She brings her valuable knowledge of the food industry from multiple aspects, including the military, hospitality, senior living, and dining establishments. She has held the roles of Executive Chef, Culinary Specialist, General Manager, Dining Director, and Catering Coordinator. After completing her college degree, she entered the USCG, where she served for 11+ years as a Culinary Specialist. While on active duty, Jordan was recognized with many awards, ribbons and/or accolades associated with her outstanding accomplishments. A few of these awards are the USCG Achievement Medal (x2), Commandant Letter of Commendations Ribbon (x3), Humanitarian Service Award (x2), and the USCG Meritorious Team and Unit Commendation. Jordan has a true passion for the food/hospitality industry and is excited to be an asset to our team.
